VMS doesn't set out to treat you like a kid or a grandma, and yet the ease of routine editing tasks belies the true power you have at your fingertips. It also has a great feature which really helped me learn the interface quickly. The help files have the option to guide you through basic actions step by step..

That feature beats the hell out of any tutorial. Even though MVS is generally resource efficient, if you have two or three HD streams going at once it can slow down, making one do many preview renders to better get the feel of the action going on.

Someday I'll pony up for Vegas Pro. No big complaints otherwise. Overall Review: Unlike all of the others comparable products I tried, Sony's demo version is basically the full version, unlocked for 30 days.
